Which is bigger: your spoon or your appetite?

Knowledge Automation:
Is someone feeding you your knowledge, are you keeping track of it or its growing automatically without your conscious notice? Does it have any pre-condition? Does it need any acquired-approaches? Degree of desire for forecasted benefits! How much do you want to deserve before you start desiring more? Or do you want to desire now than what you actually need? What limit would you like to guage on your knowledge asset?

Relay/Transformation
Every piece of knowledge that you use to make a decision to produce a result or a process could be a starting point to the next process for someone else. You can thin out too much if you start learning many things that you may not need on the way. This world is not built for us to absorb every minute details on our way. A piece by piece - sparing a little for every one of us is the practical approach. We gave a job code for this approach. Knowledge may be closed and stay in a container until other invocation is done to it. It is like a relay stick - you pass on to your next participating runner. But limiting and knowing your project need, the size of your mouth(budget), throat(resources) and your stomach(deliverables) would help you focus on what is extremely essential.

An enterprise is nothing but a simultaneous activities of minute knowledge endeavors to produce avalanche effect from every knowledge areas. You build up your knowledge bases by acting on a situation to prevent or correct a moving forward decision. Not that you'll come across similar situation in the future and you may not apply the same decision.

Relevant Analogy to knowledge:
  • Like a sprouting of a seed: Needs necessary environmental condition. Needs nurturing and watering time to time to grow as a plant.
  • Fire in a match stick: Needs external forces to ignite a fire. Appropriate condition to light up when condition arises
  • Musical instruments: All conditions are ready but you need a player. A tuner is needed and who can give it a good melodies

    A Growing Tree
Many technologies and devices are available to capture information digitally. The Text, Documents, Spreadsheets, Forms, Messaging, Chat, Images, Audio, WebEx, Live-Meeting Reports, DashBoards are the end products which may grow on a tree (as branches, leaves, roots ) with time and space. How analytical your efforts are, how smart your team are, how authorative your position is and who all your team members are and how much you can derive from your project activities and accomplishments.
