Knowledge Battlefield

Battlefield:
No matter how we see this world externally it exists as a battlefield all the time. The Universe seems like a competition, aggression and endless avenues of desires. Imagine how many creatures might have died due to the battles they have been experiencing and fighting since the day the journey began. We have already learned the lessons from our history that we can't rule this earth by battles. Yet, we need to participate and play a role to become a part of this creation, isn’t that something contradicting! The foundation rocks that we create our houses on and possession we build upon, if are rigid and vunerable, we become fragile and easily torn apart when difficult time appears. If we are strong, if our values are protective and a based on a solid knowledge support system – no one can take our pride away from us, no competators can attack us from behind. If we don’t take control over playing the game with adequate knowledge, someone else will make us do as their piece. Others will make us move and take control over us and drag us in their battlefield.

Knowledge:
We do not want to say, “we don’t know” though we really don’t know what our fighting purpose and survival need is in this battlefield of survival. Using the knowledge responsibly is the key here. There are battles everywhere and in every dimension at every corners of life. We cannot escape from its effect and consequences. Internal battle that we may feel time to time within us such as psychological, mental, distorted relations related etc. and external such as environment related, property calamities, cultural and national wear and tear. We need courage to fight and compassionately convince the counterpart to follow a law of the nature. We definitely need a support system that will give us a wonderful opportunity to appreciate the wonders that Almighty has given us all as a gift of acknowledgement, collaboration and sharing.

Battlefield Preparation:
The action of surrender, passion in submission or subjugation of ignorance is the actual knowledge system that we human need to participate in. The battle within the belief system is a necessity today. Questioning our purpose of life and participate to become responsible individual to eradicate darkness is the duty of a humankind. In these battlefields everyone who fights with a conscious mind wins and remains unaltered in their true nature. The fight within is equally important to fight with your enemies. It is very difficult for a normal human to act on them unless we armor ourselves with proper shields and weapons. The crisis always follows us, our family life always gets attacked, job always remains as a crisis, difficult time continues for sure. That is the nature of the game plan externally but internally it is the core nectar which is hidden within all of us. The power of sharing, loving, compassion, team work, successful distribution of knowledge is what make us alive, active and eternal.

Ready to Battle, Knowledful Announcement:
Now the choice is either we'd like to fight with ignorance or with mindful conscience. The more consciously we fight the chances are we will prevail and let counterpart feel that they have not lost but learned a lesson out of it. Surprisingly and miraculously, within this chaotic world of limitless desires, anger or greed there exist a peaceful, serene and ageless energy that protects us from wrong doing towards righteousness, guides us from dark towards brightness and ultimately helps us from drowning to death towards eternity. Without a proper experience of the inner knowledge potential the world seems huge, impossible and with a plentiful purposes. Those who have fought, won and conquered the worldly impressions, see the entirety on their palm. Easy, subtle and caring conquer.

The individual who have freed himself may have no particular purpose of life and tasks remaining except to share the acquired knowledge. To help free others from the knowledge abyss that the battlefield pieces that are deeply contained or wounded. It is quite obvious that we all need to play a role in a battlefield to win the WAR (willingly accepting rivalry). We have accepted and since the war has already begun we need to choose a position and be ready to analyze the situation. We need to understand who we are fight for and who we are fighting against. We can back down if we are not sure what the purpose of fighting is. With whatever job code we have in mind, that we are good at needs to be determined by ourselves.



There are a few categories of codes that may help us to determine the position and tools that we need to help synchronization in any battlefield. After all it’s not a single-handed war where we need to fight alone.

A. Knowledge Trainers:

At the beginning Prophet Muhammad had nothing, no army, no king or nation to support him, completely alone. He had to convince his co-tribesmen and contemporaries one by one about the truth of his Mission, endure his tribe's persecutions, build with his companions makeshift weapons to defend himself, then constitute a modest army with people who for many of them had no experience in fighting whatsoever. He solely managed to rule over such a large territory without ever owning any palace, any fortress, and any bodyguard, relying only on his mission. Let us assume that the battle here is ignorance, unawareness, lust, selfish desires and inexperienced state of mind.

Knowledge Grid:
The grid is the entire entity that is evolved in the war. The nature of the war is such that there will be limited resources and specified amount of time. The war should not take forever to accomplish. The timeline defines what's needed to be accomplished, who all are in your side, who are you fighting this war against etc. and off course the technique and methods to achieve it. From every angle and from everyone engaged.



Knowledge Tree:
All the leaves blossom at the same time with a symmetric and synchronized way. The organization is nothing but lively flowering of some product or services with a synchronized process. The tree still needs to function after the winter and hence needs to prepare itself by accumulating minerals during the cold season. It loses it's all covering of leaves to gain more when needed. It also changes its color as its production lines is balanced and coordinated within and with external and internal process systematically.

Knowledge Automation and Distribution:
The mechanical Logistic or Distribution center dissipates its product to different locations using its enormous automation infrastructure. It DC maintains its' integrity from the collection department to the shipping department and a lot of automation happens internally. The product gets loaded from the dark and lonely ware house to the containers, packaged and ready to be distributed depending on the arrival of the next transportation.



Knowledge optimization:
How much knowledge need to be injected and how much to hide is a crucial business aspect in any organization. Not everything needed to given to every individual; the job code defines what an employee needs to know for a specific purpose.

Knowledge Freedom:
What action and knowledge makes us fulfilled and content. This will be the last fight that human would ever fight. The craving of acquisitiveness will disappear once we excel in this battle, a battle of lifetime and for survival as a unique entity for our own glory.

B. Knowledge Warriors:

“Those who want to live, let them fight, and those who do not want to fight in this world of eternal struggle do not deserve to live.” Is not that what big companies are doing these days by slaughtering the creative minds and making a big profit out of the others lost innocence.

When we believe in something we don’t progress any further, we stop excavating. But when we stop belief system we become honest and start experimenting the truth potential. The wisdom we gained becomes eternal victory.

Knowledge Commandos:
Who would help us when we want to learn and reach in life, a mentor who gives you a proper track and stay protecting you in urgency? Lets you get back to your pace, with a minor touch it will give you strength to move forward. Until you're stuck again its channalize your steps and walk you through for some time until you're back to the track. Lets you gain your momentum to coincide with your proper patterns.

Knowledge Snipers:
There are helpers,mentors who make our life easier and do all the backend work without us knowing. These are the entities who would not let you know their presence but smoothen our work by being a catalyst. Our purpose of life will be met by clearing the trash in front of us and make it easier for our own navigation. We are ever evolving and this is the nature of the nature. We are becoming smarter and smarter day by night. Not only the living organism but given proper combination the microorganism are also becoming smarter. The mechanics of the Robot tells us that the Robots can do the work we were doing in the past for 1 year now in a day. Which means obviously our so-called job will be affected. The mode and definition of job we do need to be refined, re-trained and learned.

The better learner we are the better chances of quickly adapting to the change. Nature also plays a vital role in taking us to certain direction. For that sake no one person or creature can be equally knowledge savvy in every faculties. We may master in surviving from the volcanoes but may lack in from drowning etc. The destruction is sure to happen and how much do we prepare ourselves from it - is the proper learning.

The learner in the developed society need to be more adaptive to the smart learning as there are more mechanical aspects that need to be addressed. The complex society may need complex solution and hence the learning processes itself.

Knowledge Encounter:
We bump into discussion, ideology differences and understanding to a conclusion by encountering a reality. Our perception and belief may be very different to others. What to expect and how to encounter them and still learn on the way is the fundamental upbringing to our quality of life. Understanding this earth as a university of enormous knowledge is almost an endless process from a single dimension. When you start encountering ignorance from all the directions then life becomes blissful. The surrendering process teaches us to make use of logic without any effort. It is not only in winning but learning and eradicating ignorance is the purpose of battlefield.

Knowledge Suicides:
Giving up life in the hope of winning the battle. The one who saves the team for its success, the one who gives up everything for learning, executing and making life meaningful? If we still desire a miracle to happen to save us - it may happen, a great mentor may appear at your fingertips and again put us back in work and business. As long as intensions are good for progress, sharing, escalating further no one can ever stop. Bullshit can take us to a certain height for sometime but soon we will need to fall down. Volunteers who can eliminate extremists from the planet for better, safe and peaceful lifestyle. The grid can help us find the extreme believer of certain product and faith services.

Knowledge Spying, Intelligence:
One of the most crucial components of the war is intelligence. We never know who is spying on our mission and us. The knowledge grid would help us get some clue and gather more valid evidence of enemies but at the same time we need to provide solid spying backbone to our spy too. How much spying knowledge help other people in doing their job. No job are exactly similar and even they do such as an assembly lie jobs - they are not measured by how we did I but how many we accomplished is a certain time frame. The nature of the task depends on the knowledge we have. Internally and externally. Not all jobs require creativity all the time; the task could be redundant many times.

Knowledge Privacy, Artifacts and Assets:
What belongs to the organization and what doesn't? What is sharable and what is not? What will remain with us forever and what we drop on the way as we grow? The kinder garden teddy bear will no longer seem protective once we become teenagers. The teenager’s parental support will not become reality when they enter the university. The life changes and so is the priority. The friends and circles become their supportive counseling. Once you’re in job market, even friends can’t help much, they all go min different dimensions. The career ladder makes one different and again be a part of the team player. But on all these processes every moment, events, projects and team becomes a growing artifacts, an identity and ultimate assets in one growing life. Once you retire from work all the values that you’ve given to the world separates, priorities change. You get remarried to your spouse again. You see a friend in your daughters and children.

Knowledge Protection:
Learning, exchanging and accumulating for your protection is required all the time. The feel of insecurity of our job, relations and property is what we fear about all the time. Even though they are not in reality it appears that way and tortures us all the time. The pride of staying on top of everyone and always proving to be successful, rich and prosperous is the belief system and we embrace which makes us powerless. Instead the sharing of knowledge, prosperity and serene relationship should win us on all the wars we are fighting.

Knowledge Savior:
A savior who would help you perfect in your karma and provide you clear vision such that you don't leave any trash behind either. When the purpose of living becomes clear-wise, knowledge conscious and ultimately free the state of understanding becomes "Do what thou wilt", even Thelma melts away, the Savior disappears and the individual becomes the savior! The legend continues. The cowboy never again returns to the same town!

Knowledge Intrusion:
Uncertainty, Information Overload, situation un-awareness, false Analysis and Visualization are the key factors in losing a game. Playing the game with compassion and with lawfulness always keep players in tact and protects with success.

Knowledge Invasion:
In order to purport a specific task or an ideology, a leadership quality is needed to command an invasion on a certain territory. Excellent understanding of a scenario is needed in terms of convincing stakeholders or executioners. Getting equipped with essential details on the topic is mandatory to propagate adequate reasoning and occupy necessary domain.

Knowledge Design:
Involve warriors in the design loop. Prepare a prototype or a Simulation mechanism to give them adequate scenarios. Task Analysis before a certain project begins. Like a project management and execution not all wars are forever. It has a time line and a budget to spend.

Knowledge Explosion:
Depending on the aspect of expectation set by the project details, product initiation – the Knowledge team need to be aware of every possible counter moves or risk mitigation which may hamper any task to fail or not complete on time or within budget. By keeping track of these 3 basic aspects of a task knowledge can be exploded to the next level of expansion.

Knowledge 'Jihad':
Any form of social reforms to make this world a better place to live requires courage, compassion, knowledge and certain discipline. Striving to obtain certain quality in society is like in a battlefield against oppression and tyranny. A wise man will always be fighting for the righteous cause. To avoid misinterpretation of a person, culture, religion, country, ideology, beliefs need constant understanding of compassion and knowledge of respect.

C. Knowledge Traders:

Knowledge Capital:
If knowledge is an asset or financial gain what are its real indicators. The performance needs to be tracked so that it can be evaluated time to time. The capital spend and shared is gain in exponential. This is the only capital that if used responsibly multiplies in multitude and increases our security. The strongest capital that can't be stolen, can't be captured by other kings and warriors.

Knowledge Partnership:
One can’t be excellent in every aspect of knowledge areas. Partnership with stakeholders of difference domain is a successful initiation of staying on top of the knowledge hierarchy. In some component of knowledge to work with other partners makes business sense and productive mates. Colleagues, co-worker can be very supportive and helpful but that may not be sufficient to take the progress to one more step higher. We may need partnership with better knowledgeable entity than only one area. The equity of knowledge need to multiply or added up not to be subtracted or divided in between. The partnership proposal should always add up as a gain to the common share of knowledge pool.



Knowledge Integrators, Collaboration and Migratory rules:
The strength and power of creating a bridge between two banks of a river has a creative potential to let each other cross over the abyss in between. The service providers need to be savvy from both the ends. Start to finish experts in order to take control over both entities. To identify the threat for both and reaching a common progressive goals are essential in partnership. The union can be temporarily for a common cause and the team may let loose depending on a specific project delivery.

D. Knowledge Service Providers:

Knowledge-Chef:
In the nature, the best chefs never cook their food. They would not have time even to chew their own capture. Sometimes as they kill, they need to swallow them. The animal kingdom teaches us that due to their survival and time constraints they don't have time to cook their food. But when they have time, they would help other get their best possible taste out there. The more sofisticated and un-atural we become we tend to entangled in our taste and luxury. We sometimes forget the purpose all together and miss the opportunity to share the food, the thought.

Knowledge-Healers/Health Workers:
There are certain trends in community that these service oriented personality only work for service sake, for the better of the society in general. They bring green initiative, open source initiation and everybody should remain and contribute – kind of a mentality. They are harmless creature and only giving is their tendency. Always giving and caring though they themselves sometimes torn apart. A lot of people take advantage of these individuals but self ignited energy always keep them ecstatic even they receive so little from the society they live in. The agitating actions of other will affect them at the minimum. These individuals are prune to humiliation asserted by the community. Their non-violent intelligence remains always conscious and alert. Their entire purpose is to heal the people and render services for divine. They come to earth to service humanity not to get service. Their purpose is always divine and self-less. Very few individual can remain in that state and still function.

Knowledge Punishments:
Not allowing to receive any knowledge is a punishment of some kind. "Heaven has everything but books". Every winning event could be a losing ground for another. Restricting to gain knowledge is a torture of some kind but winning in a battlefield of a business, projects, industry - whatever it may be give us certain glimpses of satisfaction but the hardship of retention is in otherwords is a punishment of eagerness to achieve more and more. The flame of materialistic gain is a torch of everlasting torture.

Knowledge-Entertainers:
Joyfulness is a part of human life. We are the only advanced animals who laugh at jokes. Laughing and getting entertained has become an integral part of our battlefield. Sometimes while fighting the battle we forget our self and become a piece rather a controller/player of a piece.

Knowledge Comforters:
Such as body massaging, Natural Healing, Herbal soothing are necessary to re-energies the mind and physical body we need spiritual purpose to live a peaceful life. Especially when people are injured both mentally and physically the body needs some kind of a rest, relaxation and emptiness. That is where the entire battlefield of materialists world submerge, disappears and a new level of spiritual battlefield begins. The ignorance get lost but the intelligent war begins. The wordly destruction ends but the self ignition and automatic healing begins ! At the dawn of bonded capatilistic civilization a new,truthful, peaceful,everconscious, free kingdom re-appears !

Inner Re-Engineering : Open Soul Searching

1. What color is our soul?
Is it black, white, red, brown, pink, blue, rainbow or natural?

Being colorful with our skin alone is a gross way of looking at things. In a bigger perspective, color doesn't matter a much, or does it? Being a black, white, brown, red are all temporary illusions to hide our inner qualities. And so are the tallness, shortness, richness, poorness. If we go even deeper - our identify is NOT only from a cultural beliefs and mundane differnt political doctrines that we are broughtup in to. Our inner strength is our true/self identity.

What we are - is what we belive in. The more human we are - the nearer to divinity we will proceed. In terms of web technologies all these colors and possesion is nothing but 'cascading-style-sheet'. They do not mean your ownership. They can vary in a very dynamic/fragile way but the core functions are our building blocks and inner science.

Memphis, a southern state - A soul searching opportunity !

No place is less important and no time is perfect for our soul searching. Every moment becomes opportunity and every forward movement provides a purpose of living. To know a country you need to move to its core. As for example, we would not see United States until you see the Southern states, that's what my inner-soul tells me after living in Memphis for a month this summer. Explaining about a place is like 6 blind people describing an elephant. Everyone is right but makes it complete when we put all perspective together. I can sense a soul of a little friendlier, a courtious and some ice-breakers. The hardship and natural challenges have made south - a rugged terrain with stronger inner strength. Stout from outside but calmer and deep into their natural patterns inside.

The music of Soul or the soul of music are both originated from the south towns. Elvis, BB King, Native souls, Country vibes and so many other great musicians were created from this Mississippi river banks. We can say that - the nature has challenged them from every corners but the people have faught back equally day and night. The hurricanes, flooding and yellow fever have taken many lives apart but the town also has embraced all the races, music and cultures to its multitudes. No town is created in a day, it took thousands of years to build a community - if we stay quite enough - we can still hear the voice from the Native Americans soul. The music and the history carved in the forest Totem poles.

North may be the melting pot for modern civilization of the world where as the South is the inner core of the American values. The mixed society of orinitating musical colors. That is where great souls like Jesus come in. Whenever they are confronted with an opponent, they conquer them with love. Great mind don't get locked in a singularity. Their soul become their identity and form an union. That is what Gandhi learned and taught to the world. That is what inner knowledge or engineering of soul - that we need to follow for the years to accept the humanity as is.

Now for a short time let's close our eyes and find the best color that describes us? Are there any colors within our soul? Peace, tranquility, forgiveness, resilience, non-violence is our true color. Inner self has the capacity to absorb every possible energy when it is deformed but again upon understanding with right knowledge we all can recover all the energy that was lost making this beautiful world.

2. What music does our soul like the best, human's favorite?
Rock & Roll, Classical, Indian-Shatriya, Blues, Jazz, Soul, Gospel, Country, Rap or natural?Let's close both of our ears for 2 sec and listen to our self - do we hear anything?

3. What food do we crave the most?
Vegetarian, Non Veg., Vegan, Animal products, fast food etc. or natural? Let's fast for a few days for a great cause and feel the difference. The only thing we may loose is some weight.

4. What's our innercore business belief?
Non-profit, Profit oriented, Sharing, open-source-trade or proprietory? Do you believe that what you learned and experience today has ONLY your ownership? Or does it belong to you or to the community we gained from? Have humans created any grains from scratch yet? What responsibility do we have for the poor, sick, orphaned, and dying?

5. What political systems do you admire the most?
Liberal, Democratic, Communism with modern approaches, Natural - which means the belief in ecosystem which balances out by itself. With global environmental threats what should be our actions?

6. What is progress to us?
To stay on top of everyone, survival of the fittest? Or fittest among the survivals? Escalation towards the upper food chain and again to gain power, prosperity and good life dictated by the society or sharing of resources, maintain social harmony and hard-ship to maintain tranquility to exist in social melodies.

There are certainly many but for simplycity sake - there are two paths or school of thoughts? To enjoy the elements for all the senses that we like or the world of inner-self which is rising beyond the senses. Is this world for us to learn and enjoy most out of it? A path that we like the most to fulfill our unlimited desires or a path that is better for us? By the way what path is better for all of us? Or are there any?

Human Origin and our Purpose here:

How much openness for thoughts and progessive knowledge and spiritual searchig is required to our ultimate soul freedom. Will our living be purposeful or is it entirely possible to fulfill it by just learning?

The knowledge of being and to find its origin is the foremost quest that humanity is excavating all the times. People want to know their beginning such that they can find their end? Different cultural beliefs, religions and doctrines have taught us many ways of reasoning our beginning. Science and Paleontology gave us even better understanding of our pre-existence providing mundane signatures. The carved fossils gave humanity a different twist time to time. Interestingly the signature of inner-core self engineering can't be seen with our naked eyes. Unfortunately it can't be listened with the modern iPod neither can we find in the Beale Street.

Today, more than ever before, life must be characterized by a sense of Universal responsibility, not only nation to nation and human to human, but also human to other forms of life.

The eastern philosophy taught us that there is no beginning and hence can't have an end to our existence, an introvert knowledge. Western civilization taught humanity a hardship to materialism, industrialism, capitalism, commercialism, pleasurism, imperialism or modernism for better appreatiation and usefulness of natural resources. We are merely not made by accidents nor alone with a scienctific big bang theories in a day or two. The million years of existence is the image of our inner spirit hiding somewhere in the supreme-science-core. The peak of well being is the inner truth that the different faculty of sciences are searhing & researching - day by day. The songs, music, an appealing poetry all come from the soul where it all begins and hence it is where it ends.

May be that applies to every country, city, villages and rural communities and homes. But interestingly, the world is becoming well connected and getting flat. It is getting smaller and smaller as people are becoming more mobile. We have flexibility to adopt in any society if we like to. Earlier the world was not as it is today. The world has not forgotten but learned how to forgive the past. We don't have to be a Chinese to live in China nor need to be an Indian to live in the US anymore. Humans have successfully embraced the differences. We still can do better if inner self is NOT ignored and if we believe in...thou shalt love thou neighbor.

We think sometimes that poverty is only being hungry, naked and homeless. The poverty of being unwanted, unloved and uncared for is the greatest poverty. We must start in our own homes to remedy this kind of poverty. - Mother Teresa

How much Green Knowledge do you have?

Is it really possible to save earth or it's just a hype of a few failed politicians who are trying to get their attention to promote corporate bye-ins?
If it is absolutely real - then why governments are not putting 100% 'go-green' as their primary motto? Why industries are not really bothered about the consequences? Why United Nations is not putting enough pressure to stop wars and promote these agendas? NOT everyone is same and has similar ethics, some people do care and be vocal about the safe environment. They are trying to put regulatory orders to the manufacturers to produce environment friendly products such as emmission eficient hybrid cars, lights, housing products and the lists goes on.

What exactly is Green Knowledge?



It's the knowledge about saving our earth? Getting a little concerned about the ecology, the formation of earth and it's by-products.
It's the education about learning and protecting our planet from being warmer and warmer - day by day. In a simplistic definition -
let earth be green, air be blue and water be pure and white.

The knowledge behind all the techniques, tools, resources, studies - disciplines and ethics to protect the mother earth is a necesssity now.



Some basic methods are by:

Minimizing Carbon dioxide consumption

Leading as much as natural life - using bi-cycles if possible for commute, public transportation if available

Using recycle material or natural material to build structures to avoid artificial production

Use more bio-degradable material than plastic

Avoid air popution by making sure the air is filtered enough when the smoke is released from factories/manufacturing plants etc..

Avoid water and sea pollution by not dumping chemicals

Limitless methods..but some are as follows.

The current effort to show respect to the earth by various musical groups and Al Gore(despite of his own family issues) and many other Almighty's out there need to be commended/encouraged from every corners of life, verticals, industries, and differnt knowledge areas. It is indeed a drop to the ocean, a wind to the sky - or you may call it a grain to the earth - it is one of the wisest thing to do today. Following the right protocals from one of the most developed nation and becoming a leader on the same is important. Rather than to start a journey with an unwanted pollution rates and after a few miles of travelling; realizing, repenting on the way and come back cleaning! Do the right thing first applies in every step of life.

We still have a long way to explore earth, wind, air, water, solar and thunderstorm energies/power to re-invent some of the wheels and mileage that we already have committed and travelled.

There are signatures of intelligence on every living entity in the world whether they may have different percentage of Spiritual, Cosmic, Intelligent or Materialist Mind!

Uncertainties vs. Domain realm:

Imagine if the earth that we see is just a demo of the real one that is going to get released very soon. The real creation that is coming! Does creation itself fall under natural release methodology? Every new version of planets releasing on time, space and consciousness - automatically? How do we feel if it is absolutely true that the real earth doesn't exist yet? The materialist phenomenon has not happened yet? What happens to all the memory that we collected since we were child that were all bogus and the relationship with other people is just a mirage?

No matter what- the best part is the wisdom that we learnt from this demo version - that is with us. It's powerful and everlasting, which comes with us.That it may come with us for the real product, when it launches - so that we can see the difference. Then we can say all the functions were as promised and almost real as indicated.

Yogis say - the true knowledge has no price tag on it and should not be asked for any materialistic cost or gain. The only pure knowledge that stays within us and when we leave this earth is priceless and should be available free? Needs commitments but economically free, the materialistic knowledge has a price to learn but is not permanent. What an irony !

People need to unlearn the education that they've learned their whole life (which they have paid a big price already). When the real learning begins within the self - the cost minimizes but the commitment escalates. What an irony! Learn to earn and then again earn to learn is a vicious cycle of modernization. This routine has become a part of a digital reality of a virtual world ! Learning for materialistic gain and your inner self are two dimensions of life. Passion, love, socially candid, conscious and collaborative approaches are imperishable and priceless where as other materialistic knowledge are expensive, endurable but temporary!!

Many technologies exist and so are the devices that capture information digitally. Most of them are needed for a certain purpose to accomplish a specific task or an activity. A collection of task leads to an assignment. A collection of daily assignments could turn out to be a job description of an employee. A collection of resources, time line and deliverables would produce a project. A collection of many similar or discrete projects make a department of a company. A collection of departments with their collective associated projects (HR, Finance, Sales, Marketing all have their short term and long term projects) become an enterprise.

A task involved to complete a project need to have a good understanding of its players, the availability of the tool sets, the resources to execute certain activity. For any collaborative project to be accomplished we need to identify all minute ingredients of digital chunk of data of different formats. They could be dispersedly available in an enterprise or not at all visible digitally. At times available but only locally. Some of the binary/ASCII/digital entity or data structures in a project toolbox are the following:

Documents, Spreadsheets, Forms, Messaging, Chat, Images, Audio, Web-Ex, Live-Meeting, Reports, Dash-Boards or ideally virtual world such as training in the SecondLife domain are all in different digital formats. They are used as tools in a collaborative information platform but how much is essential, absolutely needed and searchable need its proper management too.

Almost all IT related projects are associated or nearly embedded to these components. How analytical your efforts are, how wise and smart your enterprise is and how much authorities your position has and who all your team members are would decide the usefulness of accomplished digital capture hanging around as signatures from your project accomplished. Usually the specifications are defined but you can't assume that the volumous output process is structured and quantifiable in all the cases and directions. We leave a pile of digital junk which needs recycling.

Doing the right projects vs. doing projects right

Doing the right project is smarter decision than doing projects right. Bringing expert IT Project Managers to do the project right is one smart way...but ideally choosing the right project to begin with adds more value in today's competetive market. It a smarter move to choose a smart project to begin with. A domain expert having a look at your portfolio or programs may better suggest you than a PM who has been hired to do a certain task.

Succesful Portfolio management in any organization would be the ideal choice of a project to the right PM to produce right results with right bugdet within spcified time.

There could be many projects in an organization scattering around but putting the right resources (PMO, if there are any) to first identify the right project is worth spending time to. Time spent earlier to regocnize the right Project Charter would be fruitful than to start and realize later. Smarter and collaborative projects would introduce smarter results and a best choice of the enterprise resources.
